SMALL RUNNING SCHOOL WITH MLADENKA BUIĆ - GRŽETA

On Saturday 14.10. at 10 a.m. there will be a small running school with Mladenka Buić – Gržeta. The starting point and meeting point will be in Marčana, 500 m from the turn towards Vodnjan on the Pula – Labin road. Running takes place in trail form (macadam and forest roads). The run will last approximately one hour and 15 minutes. The path will pass along the former blockhouse where blocks for building houses were once built, ahead we come to the Marčana Equestrian Club, followed by Gržinivi and Perešinovi dvori and all the way to the field where fruit is grown. INTERPRETATIVE WALK IN MUTVORAN, October 1 at 4 p.m. CELEBRATION OF WORLD TOURISM DAY The Tourist Board of the Municipality of Marčana invites you to a free Interpretive Walk in Mutvoran on Sunday, October 1 at 4 p.m. World Tourism Day is celebrated by interpreting the heritage and rich history of the small village of Mutvoran, the oldest inhabited fortress in Pula. The story, performed by Istra Inspirit and KUD Mate Balota from Rakalj, begins with a gathering of visitors at the lodge, at the entrance to Mutvoran, with a presentation of the bestiary. Once a historical stronghold of Histra, Mutvoran is still adorned with a part of the old walls with triple gates. The Church of St. Mary Magdalena preserves a valuable wooden altar, the only one of its kind in Istria, and a wedding wreath made of colorful ribbons worn by Mutvoran brides. Find out which legend is connected with the creation of Mutvoran and many other interesting facts during a pleasant walk lasting approximately 45 minutes. The event is organized by TZO Marčana in cooperation with the Istrian Development and Tourism Agency, KUD Mate Balota from Rakalj, the Parish Office of Krnica and the Municipality of Marčana. Parking for visitors is provided at the entrance to the settlement, next to the cemetery.

The Tourist Board of the Municipality of Marčana invites you to Loborika Fun Day – a fun recreational gathering on Saturday morning, September 16. Inspired by the tradition of cycling on the territory of Loborika, the day will begin with a gathering of cyclists in front of the Bicycling House in Loborika (across from the butcher’s shop), from 9 to 10 am. At 10 am a non-competitive recreational bike ride starts for all cycling and healthy living lovers who want to get to know our area better. The trail, 10.30 km long, with an elevation from 93 to 133 m, is not demanding, and offers interesting views of Loborika – a small place of great cyclists. The path starts in front of the Cycling House and turns left, descends 300 m along the main road and immediately turns onto the white road and along the water supply route (through the chestnut forest) comes to the white road that leads further towards Y highway. We+ll drive along this road for 2 km and then turn to the road of the Roman centurions and drive back to the center of Loborika. It’s a circular path, suitable for all ages, that can be completed in about an hour.
With the aim of the best possible organization, participation in the cycling event must be announced at info@tzmarcana.com. ❗️ Applications are mandatory (please indicate name, surname and age of the participant), and must be received by Thursday, September 14. The first 60 registered cyclists will receive a 🆓 T-shirt. For safety’s reasons, all participants are required to wear a helmet. With the aim of promoting cycling for the benefit of health, ecology, leisure and tourism, those who do not have a bicycle or are unable to transport it to Loborika will be able to rent it together with accompanying equipment in Loborika. The funky rhythms of the duo from Rijeka, 🎧 DJ Deni Miočić and 🎷 saxophonist Toni T Sax will warm up the cyclists before departure. With refreshments, good rhythm and ‍☀️ good mood, socializing will continue after the ride on the playground (behind the coffee bar) with the continuation of the Loborika Fun Day program, with an offer of local 🧀 cheeses, 🍷 wine, 🥓 prosiutto and other products from domestic exhibitors. This 🆕 event is organized by Marčana Tourist Board in cooperation with Valčić Cycling Concept and the Municipality of Marčana, with the logistical support of Volunteer Fire Department Marčana with the desire to valorize the cycling sign of Loborika through the presentation of historical sketches about the development of this sport. On that day, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the expert guidance of Helena and Luciano Valčić, it will be possible to visit the Cycling House exhibition dedicated to the life story and world sport successes of Nevio Valčić and Cvitko Bilić, champions of road cycling who have roots in Loborika, as well as the story establishment and successes of the Loborika Cycling Club.

The Tourist Board of the Municipality of Marčana invites you to the concert of the guitarist ensemble “CUERDAS” this Thursday, August 24 at 9 p.m. The concert will take place in the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Rakalj. An ensemble of eight guitarists will perform, and Damir Bedrina, professor of church music and musical singing, head of the regional music school Aicha vorm Wald in the Music School of the County of Passau, will perform several songs with the ensemble.
The ensemble “CUERDAS” combines the passion for the guitarist and the desire and joy in researching different musical styles and their presentation and performance to the audience. This year, they are visiting Croatia for the first time, in Istria with concerts in Vrsar and Rakalj. The original composition of the ensemble consists of 12 members, who on the one hand know each other from the time they studied together at various Austrian universities, and on the other hand through teaching activities at various music institutions.

THE PRIMOTAJO BLUES BAND

U RAKLJANSKEN LONCU & RAKALJ U SRCU

The Tourist Board of the Municipality of Marčana announces the traditional gastronomic event “U Rakljansken loncu” and the 29th folklore fair “Rakalj u srcu” for this Saturday, August 5. The event will be held at the soccer field in Rakalj, starting at 6 p.m., when five culinary teams will start preparing and cooking five types of maneštra (istrian soup from corn, fennel, cabbage, spring and pasta-beans) in Rakljan’s pots. The teams of Art Studio from Pula, Mendula from Vrsar, DVD Marčana, Bočari from Rakalj and Red Cross Pula are competing for the best maneštra.

At 8:30 p.m., there will be a revue folklore show of groups KUD Izvor from Generalski Stol, City Society Sokol from Buzet, and the host of the meeting, KUD Mate Balota from Rakalj. At the end of the review, the three best maneštras will be announced and awarded according to the evaluation of the expert jury composed of Cvitko Brgić, Dušan Percan and Marin Valić. Visitors will be entertained from start to finish by Serđo Valić and Duo Magnolija with a special music program, and there will also be a catering offer of Istrian dishes such as prosciutto and cheese, mussels and home-made fuži pasta with truffles. Local artisans and family farms will exhibit their domestic products (olive oil, wine, medicinal herbs) as well as handmade souvenirs (pots, kažuni, dolls in traditional costumes) and natural cosmetics.

With the aim of valorizing the tradition of pottery, Marčana Tourist Board will, thanks to the locals, exhibit several examples of the Rakljan pot. Throughout history, Rakalj is known for potters who made pots themselves by mixing soil – clay and quartz stone, “rotten” and “salty”. Rakljan potters crushed the salt and then mixed it with rot (clay) and in this way shaped the pots by hand, which they baked to make them resistant to high temperatures. Throughout the 19th and 20th centuries, great poverty reigned in Istria, and trade was conducted according to the saying “Peace at peace, at peace” – which in today’s modern times would mean “Clean accounts, long love”. Thus, the inhabitants of Raklje would sell pots in Istria in such a way that the pot would be filled to the brim with corn, wheat and other foodstuffs, the potters would exchange the pot for food that would fit in the pot, and in return the farmers and households would receive that very pot, which they would fill with their groceries.

The event is organized by Marčana Tourist Board with KUD Mate Balota from Rakalj and DVD Marčana. Parking for visitors is provided along the access road and next to the soccer field.

Turistička zajednica Općine Marčana za ovu subotu, 5. kolovoza, najavljuje tradicionalnu gastro manifestaciju „U Rakljansken loncu“ i 29. smotru folklora „Rakalj u srcu“. Manifestacija će se održati na malonogometnom igralištu u Raklju, s početkom u 18 sati, kada pet kulinarskih ekipa započinje s pripremom i kuhanjem pet vrsti maneštri (od bobići, koromača, jote, proljetne i pašta-fažola) u rakljanskim loncima. Za najbolju maneštu se natječu ekipe Art Studija iz Pule, Mendule iz Vrsara, DVD-a Marčana, Bočari iz Raklja i GO Crvenog križa Pula.

U 20.30 sati slijedi revijalni nastup folklornih društava KUD-a Izvor iz Generalskog Stola, Gradskog društva Sokol iz Buzeta te domaćina susreta, KUD-a Mate Balota iz Raklja. Po završetku smotre proglasiti će se i nagraditi tri najbolje maneštre po ocjeni stučnog žirija u sastavu Cvitka Brgića, Dušana Percana i Marina Valića. Posjetitelje će od početka do kraja prigodnim glazbenim programom zabavljati Serđo Valić i Duo Magnolija, a neće izostati ni ugostiteljska ponuda istarskih jela poput pršuta i sira, pedoća i domaćih fuži s tartufima. Lokalni rukotvorci i OPG-ovi izložiti će svoje domaće proizvode (maslinovo ulje, vino, ljekovito bilje) te ručno rađene suvenire (lonce, kažuniće, lutke u tradicionalnoj nošnji) i prirodnu kozmetiku.

S ciljem valorizacije tradicije lončarstva TZO Marčana će zahvaljujući mještanima izložiti nekoliko primjeraka Rakljanskog lonca. Rakalj je kroz povijest poznat po lončarima koji su sami izrađivali lonce miješanjem zemlje – gline i kvarcnog kamena, „gnjila“ i „solena“. Solen su Rakljanski lončari mrvili pa zatim miješali sa gnjilom (glinom) i na taj način ručno oblikovali lonce, koje su pekli kako bi postali otporni na visoke temperature. U Istri je kroz 19. i 20. stoljeće vladalo veliko siromaštvo te se trgovalo po izreci „Mira na miru, na viru“ – što bi u današnje moderno doba značilo „Čist račun, duga ljubav“. Tako bi stanovnici Raklja po Istri prodavali lonce na način da bi se kukuruzom, pšenicom i ostalim namirnicama napunilo lonac do vrha, lončari bi lonac zamijenili za namirnice koje bi stale u lonac, a zauzvrat bi poljoprivrednici i domaćinstva dobila upravo taj lonac koji bi napunili svojim namirnicama.

Manifestaciju organizira TZO Marčana sa KUD-om Mate Balota iz Raklja i DVD-om Općine Marčana. Parking za posjetitelje predviđen je uzduž prilazne ceste i uz malonogometno igralište.

FILIPANSKA NOĆ - FILIPANA NIGHT

On Saturday, August 5th, at 8 p.m., come to Filipana Night – folk festival. The 3M Band will play on the square in Filipana, and there will be beans and barbecue. In case of rain, the fest will be held in the Filipana Community Center.

The folk festival is organized by Marčana Tourist Board in cooperation with Mandalena d.o.o. and local people of Filipana.

U subotu, 5. kolovoza u 20 sati dođite na Filipansku noć, pučku feštu. Na trgu u Filipani svirati će 3M Bend, a kuhati fažol i roštilj. U slučaju kiše fešta će se održati u Društvenom domu Filipana.

Pučku feštu organizira TZO Marčana u suradnji s komunalnom tvrtkom Mandalena d.o.o. i mještanima Filipane.

The Tourist Board of the Municipality of Marčana invites you to the opening of the exhibition “Rakljanski umjetnici na jenen mistu – Rakljan`s artists at once” this Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at 9 p.m.

Kristina Valić, Marija Valić – Mima and Mario Hauser will present their works together in the atrium of the Tourist Information Center in Krnica.

Kristina Valić is a self-taught artist from Rakalj. Ever since she was little, she was always drawing something and was perfectly happy when she only had a blank piece of paper in front of her, and that is still the case today. She deals with different types of art: she paints, makes sculptures in clay and makes jewelry. At this exhibition, she will present various oils on canvas with Istrian motifs of olives, stone walls, churches and sea. Before she started painting seriously in 1998, Kristina worked in fashion design. She likes to express herself in different ways. The subjects of her paintings are, in addition to landscapes, portraits of faces, flowers, angels, the sky and abstractions.

In her spare time, Marija Valić-Mima operates creatively in the Art Studio from Pula under the guidance of mentor Igor Fabris, where she makes useful and decorative ceramic objects in different techniques, and will present them at the exhibition in Krnica. Marija lives and works in Pula, with a strong presence of the influence of Rakalj and Rakalj tradition, from where she proudly points out her origin and draws inspiration and muse. By profession, she is a lawyer who practices her profession in a domestic financial institution. She is open-minded, a lover of nature and an active lifestyle.

Mario Hauser was born in Pula, and has been working and living in Rakalj since retirement. He is an electrician by profession, for some time he expressed himself with oil on canvas and graphics on glass. Around 15 years ago, he accidentally came into contact with the technique of making mosaics, and since then he has devoted himself entirely to making useful objects, such as paintings, mirrors, tables, and small benches decorated with mosaics. He mostly works for his own taste, but ofthen he also makes mosaic in scriptions on order, he likes Roman motifs and the ornament of braids and meanders. He started doing mosaics more seriously when he moved to Rakalj. He does everything himself in his home workshop: he bakes two types of cubes in a small oven; from white, black and red clay, earth-colored ones, and by adding various pigments of other colors (blue, green, yellow, etc.) to white cement, he obtains cubes of those colors, dries them and breaks them with hand pliers.

The group exhibition includes the works of three authors in one place in order to present them to the local community and numerous guests, hence the name ” Rakljanski umjetnici na jenen mistu – Rakljan artists at once”. The exhibition will be on display for a full month and can be viewed from Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 11 am and from 6 pm to 9 pm. In addition to encouraging local creativity and art, TZO Marčani’s desire is to offer primarily autochthonous content, a local, sustainable story and hand-made souvenirs through the exhibition. „RAKLJANSKI UMJETNICI NA JENEN MISTU“ – otvorenje izložbe u Turističkom informativnom centru Krnica, u srijedu 2. kolovoza u 21 sat.

Turistička zajednica Općine Marčana poziva Vas na otvorenje izložbe „Rakljanski umjetnici na jenem mistu“ ove srijede, 2. kolovoza 2023., u 21 sat. U prostoru Turističkog informativnog centra u Krnici zajedno će svoje radove predstaviti Kristina Valić, Marija Valić – Mima i Mario Hauser.

Kristina Valić samouka je umjetnica iz Raklja. Od malena je uvijek nešto crtala i savršeno bila sretna kad je pred sobom imala samo prazan papir, a tako je i danas. Bavi se različitim vrstama umjetnosti: slika, radi skulpture u glini, izrađuje nakit. Na ovoj izložbi će predstaviti razna ulja na platnu s istarskim motivima masline, suhozida, crkvica i mora. Prije nego li se ozbiljno počela baviti slikarstvom 1998. godine, Kristina se bavila modnim dizajnom. Voli se izražavati na različite načine. Teme njezinih slika su osim pejzaža, i portreti lica, cvijeće, anđeli, nebo i apstrakcije.

Marija Valić- Mima u svoje slobodno vrijeme kreativno djeluje u okviru Art studija iz Pule pod vodstvom mentora Igora Fabrisa, gdje izrađuje uporabne i ukrasne predmete od keramike u različitim tehnikama, te će iste i predstaviti na izložbi u Krnici. Marija živi i radi u Puli, sa snažnim prisustvom utjecaja Raklja i rakljanske tradicije, odakle ponosno ističe svoje porijeklo te crpi inspiraciju i nadahnuće. Po zanimanju je diplomirana pravnica koja svoju profesiju ostvaruje u jednoj domaćoj financijskoj instituciji. Otvorenog je duha, ljubiteljica prirode i aktivnog načina života.

Mario Hauser je rođen u Puli, a od umirovljenja radi i živi u Raklju. Po struci je električar, neko se vrijeme izražavao uljem na platnu i grafikama na staklu. Prije 15ak godina je slučajno došao u doticaj s tehnikom izrade mozaika i od tada se u potpunosti posvetio izradi uporabnih predmeta, poput slika, ogledala, stolova, škanjića ukrašenih mozaikom. Najviše radi za svoj gušt, no često po narudžbi radi i natpise u mozaik tehnici, a dragi su mu rimski motivi te ornament pletera i meandra. Mozaikom se ozbiljnije počeo baviti kada se preselio u Rakalj. Sve radi sam u svojoj kućnoj radionici: u maloj peći peče dvije vrste kockica; od bijele, crne i crvene gline one zemljanih boja, a dodavanjem raznih pigmenata drugih boja (plave, zelene, žute i dr.) u bijeli cement dobiva kockice tih boja, suši ih i lomi ručnim kliještima.

Skupna izložba obuhvaća radove triju autora na jednom mjestu kako bi se predstavili lokalnoj zajednici i brojnim gostima, otud i naziv „Rakljanski umjetnici na jenem mistu“. Izložba će biti postavljena punih mjesec dana i moći će se razgledati od ponedjeljka do subote od 8-11 sati i od 18-21 sat. Uz poticanje lokalnog stvaralaštva i umjetnosti, želja TZO Marčana je kroz izložbu ponuditi prvenstveno autohtoni sadržaj, lokalnu, održivu priču i ručno izrađene suvenire. Dobrodošli!

PETROVA – 29. lipnja, tradicionalna pučka fešta u Marčani

Turistička zajednica Općine Marčana najavljuje Petrovu – tradicionalnu zabavnu manifestaciju, obilježavanje svetkovine Sv Petra, koja će se održati u četvrtak, 29. lipnja na trgu u Marčani. Glazbeni program počinje u 20 sati nastupom Alfa time benda, a na repertoaru su domaće i strane pop uspješnice. U 22 sata na pozornicu stupaju Učiteljice, hrvatsko-slovenski ženski bend u sastavu Andree Paškvan (glavni vokal), Silvie Ivić (tambura i prateći vokal) i Ane Vurcer (violina i prateći vokal). Bend je nastao iz natječaja za novi ženski band velikih regionalnih producenata i tekstopisaca Dušana Bačića i Bojana Dragojevića. Od 2014. godine Učiteljice ostvaruju zapažene uspjehe regionalnim nastupima i slušanošću pjesmama poput “Nema Natrag” (s Jasminom Stavrosom), “Noći u Brazilu” (s Nedom Ukraden), „Luda kuća“ , kao i zadnjim hitom „Usne ko grožđe“.

Manifestaciju organizira TZO Marčana u suradnji s komunalnom tvrtkom Mandalena d.o.o., NK Marčana i DVD Marčana. Parking za posjetiteljapredviđen je na livadi kod lokve Kalić i uzduž prilaznim cestama za centar Marčane.

Malonogometni turnir ``Petrova 2023``

 On Saturday, June 24, the 17th mini-football tournament “Petrova 2023” will take place on the mini-football field in Marčana, starting at 18:00.
Come, have fun with food, drinks and interesting matches from the youngest generations to the senior ones.

 U subotu, 24. lipnja, na malonogometnom igralištu u Marčani s početkom u 18 sati, odigrat će se 17. malonogometni turnir “Petrova 2023”.
Dođite i zabavite se uz hranu, piće te zanimljive utakmice od najmlađih generacija do onih seniorskih.

3. SMOTRA VINA I MASLINOVOG ULJA OPĆINE MARČANA

3. Smotra vina i maslinovog ulja Općine Marčana donosi, po prvi puta u travnju, nakon godine izbivanja, mnoštvo razloga za dolazak.

Na smotri će biti predstavljeni neki već renomirani uljari i maslinari, ali i oni manje poznati koji će svoje proizvode moći ponuditi posjetiteljima.

Oni koji su ranije predali vina i ulja na analizu doznat će u koju “kategoriju” spada njihov proizvod te će se i prema tome dodijeliti priznanja.

Popratni će program ugostiti KUD Mate Balota, djecu DV Vrtuljak Marčana te glazbeni program.
